By completing and submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Outdoor Conditions & Physical Demands
I understand that this event takes place outdoors during the summer and may involve standing for extended periods, walking long distances, lifting, and exposure to heat or inclement weather. I confirm that I am physically and medically able to perform volunteer duties in these conditions. I accept full responsibility for managing my own health and safety, including wearing appropriate clothing and bringing necessary personal items.
2. Assumption of Risk
I voluntarily assume any and all risks associated with participating as a volunteer, including injury or discomfort due to physical activity or weather exposure.
3. Media & Publicity Release
I grant the event organizers permission to photograph and/or film me during the event and to use my image, voice, and likeness in any format, without restriction or compensation, for promotional, marketing, or archival purposes. I also consent to my name being included in materials that acknowledge volunteers unless I request anonymity in writing.
4. Background & Conduct Warranty
I confirm that I have never been convicted of a criminal offense that would disqualify me from working or volunteering in proximity to children. I understand that the presence of children at this event requires all volunteers to meet a high standard of conduct. I warrant that nothing in my background prevents me from safely and appropriately volunteering in a family-friendly environment. I understand that the event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any applicant at their sole discretion.
5. Consent to Screening (if applicable)
I understand that I may be asked to undergo a background check prior to volunteering. I agree to cooperate with any such screening process and understand that failure to pass the screening may disqualify me from participation.
